WHAT TO EXPECT AT C3

Since the day Cross Community Church started in February 2007, we’ve been a church that accepts people wherever they are. We are a contemporary church that doesn’t focus on what people wear, how they look, or how much money they make. Instead, we focus on who God is and what that means for our life today.

When you attend C3, you’ll find friendly volunteers to help you find your way, free refreshments, an engaging children’s ministry for your kids, great music, and messages from the Bible that will matter to your life. Whether you are just curious about Christianity or have been in church all your life, you’ll find a place that accepts you wherever you are but cares too much about you to let you stay there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to some of the questions you probably have about C3.

What is a Sunday like at C3?
Sundays at C3 include music from our worship band and a message from one of our leaders. We will also throw in some videos and lights just to keep things interesting. The services last about an hour, and our music and messages always focus on real issues we face in our everyday lives. You’ll find things are pretty laid back but definitely not boring, so you’ll feel right at home. We will even give you a free t-shirt as our simple way of saying thank you for checking out our church.
What should I wear?
Don’t worry about wearing “your Sunday best” to C3. You can leave your tie at home because jeans and your favorite t-shirt are perfectly fine. You’ll even find some people rocking shorts and sandals when the weather heats up. We care more about you being there than what you are wearing.
What about my kids?
We take great pride in providing top notch programs for our children and student ministries at C3. At C3, your kids nursery through 4th grade will experience church like never before with the latest games, music, video and teaching designed to present God’s truth in fun and innovative ways. They’ll be excited to come to church, and they won’t want to miss a single Sunday.

Not only do we want your kids to have a blast, but we take your child’s safety very seriously. At check-in, a numbered nametag is placed on each child and a matching tag is given to the parent.Your child will not be released to anyone without the matching tag and every volunteer in our children’s ministry area has passed a background check.

How early should I get there?
Plan on arriving to the campus at least 15 minutes before the service starts. That will give you time to park, check your kids in to their classrooms and grab a cup of coffee and snack before the service begins. Then, you’ll want to make sure you get into the auditorium before the music starts. We’ll give you a heads up when we’re about to begin.
What do you believe?
At C3, we major on the majors and minor on the minors. With individuals with varying life experiences and church backgrounds, we have people from all walks of life. The fact that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins is the belief that unifies us and is at the core of who we are.
